Last Week In Phys. Ed. (Nov. 23rd – Nov. 27th)

Another full week of throwing and catching in Phys. Ed. classes.  Students had the opportunity to create their own stations for our Angry Birds game, they played some dodgeball and also had the chance to work at some different throwing stations.  In the coming weeks we will be moving away from throwing and catching and transitioning into rolling activities.

We also had our annual Dance-A-Thon on Tuesday.  Students had the opportunity to dance for an hour in the afternoon.  Some of the crowd favourites were The Cha Cha Slide and The Hamster Dance.  Way to go dancers!

Our intramural season is also winding down this week and next.  Soccer intramurals have been a huge hit.  The grade 4 and grade 5 winners have already had the opportunity to face off against the teachers.  In the coming weeks the grade 3 students will finish off their round robin and will also face off against the teachers.  Our winter intramural activity is going to be Bopper Hockey.  Intramurals are open to students in grades 3-5.  Hope to see you there!
